Onderzoeksprijs
De WCN Onderzoeksprijs ter hoogte van € 7.500,-, jaarlijks uitgereikt in november tijdens het WCN-congres, is bedoeld om het onderzoeksgebied van de cardiovasculaire geneeskunde zichtbaar te maken en te stimuleren. De winnaars van de tweede en derde prijs krijgen de kans om naar een cardiovasculair congres (of cursus) naar keuze te gaan, ter waarde van € 2.500 en € 1.000. De winnaars van de eerste, tweede en derde prijs worden gekozen door een multidisciplinaire jury samengesteld uit zowel perifeer als academisch werkzame medisch specialisten.
